Oasis Pool^TM provides stations in a competitive market with the tools they need to "pool" their resources and consolidate operations, reducing fixed newsgathering expenses up to 25%!  Stations using Oasis Pool rotate assignments with other stations to cover stories and gather raw video for each station to edit into branded content. Instead of sending duplicate teams to cover scheduled local civic and sports events, Oasis Pool allows you to share coverage of these assignments.  No more killing time at City Hall-your team is free to gather breaking news with unique angles for more relevant stories that your viewers care about.

Each pooling station participating in a local market can upload SD or HD video files or even a stream to a central Oasis Pool server-no live truck required. Oasis Pool includes an optional browser-based craft editor so each station can edit their story directly from the server and transfer the completed video to their play to air servers. While the raw video is accessible by all stations in the Pool, the completed story becomes your station's intellectual property and is only viewable by your team.  Because half of the stories in a newscast are being covered by other stations in the market, pooling is one of the best ways to significantly reduce costs.
